These terms explain what to expect when you hire Locksmith Pro Tuscaloosa for locksmith services in Tuscaloosa, Northport, or Cottondale. By requesting or receiving service from us, you agree to the terms below.

Scope of Service

We provide residential, automotive, commercial, and safe related locksmith services, including lockouts, rekeying, key cutting, key fob and transponder programming, lock and hardware installation, and related security services described on our service pages. Any work outside the scope discussed and quoted at the time of booking may require a separate estimate before we proceed.

Pricing and Payment

We provide a price quote before beginning work, based on the information you provide when scheduling. If the job requires additional work once the technician is on site, such as a lock too damaged to rekey safely, we will explain the added cost and get your approval before proceeding. Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance, such as a standing agreement with a property manager or business account.

Cancellation Policy

A cancellation fee may apply if a technician has already been dispatched to your location. Please give as much advance notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Identification and Ownership Verification

For lockout and key replacement services involving a vehicle or a home, we may ask for identification, proof of address, or vehicle registration to confirm you are authorized to request access. This protects both our customers and our business, and a legitimate locksmith should always ask for this before opening a lock they did not install.

Liability

We carry general liability insurance meeting Alabama’s requirement of at least $250,000 in coverage for licensed locksmiths, as required under Code of Alabama Section 34-1A. We take reasonable care to avoid damage to doors, locks, and vehicles during service. In the rare case that damage occurs due to our work, please contact us directly so we can address it.

Licensing

Locksmith Pro Tuscaloosa is licensed through the Alabama Electronic Security Board of Licensure under Code of Alabama Section 34-1A. Our license number is available on request.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time of service applies to that service call.
